Are you thinking about taking the next step and joining our church? We want to make the joining process at Orland Park Church relaxed, welcoming, and rewarding. You’ll take a class that gets you up to speed with our church, programming, and beliefs. 

The next step after joining? Get involved! We have all different activities, missions, and ministries at Orland Park Church that will help strengthen your connection with God. You don’t even have to be a member to join in most of our programs.  Involvement is a great way to get a feel for your new church home.

Basic Beliefs Class:  A 5 week class offered several times a year on Sunday mornings between the worship services (9:45am). It is offered several times a year for those who are interested in learning about the basic teachings of the Bible and who wish to become members of Orland Park Church.  Lessons include: “Why the Bible is So Important”, “The Trinity”, “Who is Jesus?”,  “Why Do we need Jesus?” and “The Sacraments.”

New Members Class:  This class meets on Sunday afternoon from 3:30-5:30pm (three times a year) and is a required orientation class for all new members and prospective members who wish to join us.  The class is an opportunity to learn about the vision of Orland Park Church, what it means to be the “Orland Park”  “Christian” ”Reformed”  ”Church”, and how you can grow in your faith (through worship and through various Bible study opportunities), in relationships at Orland Park Church (through Small Groups), how you can use your spiritual gifts to help others grow and discover what it means to be a fully devoted follower of Jesus Christ. In the class you will learn about the many ministries and programs available to you and your family at Orland Park Church.
